On the evening of January 24, during the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, “AMTD · Hong Kong Night” was successfully held by AMTD, the only Hong Kong-based financial institution among all the global strategic partners of the World Economic Forum. Mrs. Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of HKSAR, has been invited to attend the ceremony and served as Officiating Guests to give speech. More than 300 leaders from politics, business, academia, and media from different countries and regions around the world attended the ceremony. This was the first time to use “Hong Kong” as theme and Chief Executive of HKSAR to give a speech in person and held the “Hong Kong Night” by local Hong Kong enterprise in nearly 50 years since the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum Davos was held. During the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Hong Kong was demonstrated to the world as a financial center in Asia, and its development and splendid achievements have been achieved 20 years ago.
